Dr. Healey is a naturopathic doctor and graduate from an accredited naturopathic medical school, the National University of Natural Medicine (NUNM). As a naturopathic doctor (ND) he attended a four-year, graduate-level naturopathic medical school and was educated in the same basic sciences as conventional medical doctors, but also studied holistic and nontoxic approaches to therapy with a strong emphasis on disease prevention and optimizing wellness.

In addition to a standard medical curriculum, Dr. Healey also studied clinical nutrition, homeopathic medicine, botanical medicine, hydrotherapy, physical medicine, environmental medicine, and lifestyle medicine. He took rigorous professional board exams and became licensed as primary care physician in the state of Oregon*.

His philosophy is that the human body is the most amazing complex and intricately designed work of art and has the innate ability to heal itself. He believes his job as a naturopathic doctor is to support and stimulate the body’s natural healing processes through the use of gentle, effective therapies and treatments including: nutrition, botanicals, hydrotherapy, homeopathy, lifestyle modification, and physical medicine, just to name a few.
